MEETING DETAILS

A special call to those surveyors who have retired or are contemplating retirement. The Seniors Group of Surveyors is the group for you. At our quarterly meetings, which are genial and informal there is a welcome to you to share a little of your time with your contemporaries. With a collective wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm of these young at heart surveyors, we solve various challenges whilst enjoying shared experiences and social activities.

Come and share a part of your retirement time with this grey power group. Do not let your retirement be a lone affair. Share your experiences, stories and success with fellow surveyors who have been part of our extraordinary profession.

We meet quarterly. February meeting is normally at a parliamentary luncheon with partners. Thence the first Tuesday in May and August. To avoid a conflict of interest with the Melbourne Cup, it is the first Wednesday in November.

The venue is in the Pocock Room at the Institution of Surveyors NSW Inc Office 3rd floor 363 Pitt Street at 130 p.m. .

Should you wish to dine before the meeting you can purchase a luncheon in convivial company of other members who gather at 12 noon, at the Sydney RSL Club 565 George Street Sydney, a five minute walk from the Institution Office.

The Seniors Group has no Group geographic boundaries. The emphasis is on fellowship and matters of surveying heritage. Visitors are always welcome, so why not attend a meeting and renew old acquaintances?

Something else worth noting:

The Institution of Surveyors New South Wales Incorporated has recently introduced a new category of membership to be known as: "Senior Member, The Institution of Surveyors New South Wales Incorporated". For those surveyors who hold a New South Wales Seniors Card and who no longer carry out survey work requiring registration, the annual fee for this new type of membership is $50. If you meet these criteria, why not take advantage of this offer to retain a connection with your profession?
